Christmas time is an excellent time to drop off gifts to your neighbors, teachers, coaches, church leaders, and friends to show them you care.  These printable Christmas gift tags are so adorable to add to any treat, to take it to the next level.  Grab a huge bag of popcorn, or cinnamon bears, any treat really, divide it into small treat bags, and you’ve got gifts for everyone!
I used to love baking cookies all week with my mother each year before Christmas.  We would get paper plates and saran wrap, and make a beautiful plate full of all of our favorite cookies, to deliver to our neighbors.  I don’t always have the time to do that anymore, so just adding a simple tag to any gift can really make a treat look beautiful.  It will also give the illusion that you spent a lot of time putting it together.  But really, it’s so simple!
Check out these adorable printable Christmas gift tags you can easily print on cardstock, cut out, and then tie with a ribbon to add to your favorite neighbor gifts.
A fair warning though: if you use these adorable gift tags, neighbors might start expecting something this adorable every year! 🙂
Supplies You’ll Need: Ribbon, treat bags, and cardstock.
This post is all about printable Christmas gift tags for your neighbors, teachers, and friends.

1. Beary Christmas

This first tag is so adorable, and could really be used with anything!  But how cute would it be to add cinnamon bears?! Chocolate covered cinnamon bears are a favorite in our family. Grab some chocolate covered cinnamon bears, or if you can’t find them in your area, grab some regular cinnamon bears, and put some in a little treat bag.  Then add this cute little tag with some fun ribbon. You’ll be “beary” glad you did, and so will your friends.

3. Warm Wishes

This tag would be perfect to add to a package of hot cocoa.  You could even add a candy cane and some mini marshmallows. If you want to go ALL out, then find a cute Santa mug to add to it, or check out THESE Santa mugs.  Every year, a neighbor gives me a jar of homemade hot cocoa, so if you are wanting to deliver something a little more homemade, then check out this recipe HERE. Just combine the dry ingredients, and give to your neighbors with instructions on how to cook, and how much milk and vanilla to add. YUM!

If you love making your own salsa, here is the perfect gift idea for you!  Add some salsa to a jar, and then attach this adorable printable.  If you want, you can even add a bag of your favorite tortilla chips on the side.  This spicy and salty snack will be greatly appreciated, after all of the sweets your neighbors will have been eating all month.  Another option would be to add a spicy food or candy, such as Hot Tamales.

6. Holidays are Poppin’

Popcorn has got to be one of the greatest snacks of all time! Do you agree?  With these next two gift tags, you can make your own popcorn, and package it cute, in a jar or treat bag, and add the ribbon and tag.  You can even simplify by taping the tag to a microwaveable bag of popcorn. Another option, if you have a soda lover, attach one of these tags to a two-liter bottle of pop, and skip the popcorn altogether!

8. Potpourri

Can we all agree that nothing smells better than Christmas?! For this gift tag, add some of your favorite smells to a bag, and then add the ribbon and tag. Some of our favorite ideas to add include: an orange, fresh cranberries, cinnamon sticks, fresh rosemary, and whole cloves.  I have received one of these stovetop potpourris from a neighbor for the last few years and I love it every time!  Instructions are on the tag, but you simple add these ingredients to boiling water to make your entire house smell amazing.

9. Magical Reindeer Food

Make magical reindeer food that your kids can throw out on your roof on Christmas Eve for Santa’s reindeer, to help them find your house.  This is a fun activity that I’ve done in my kids’ classrooms for school parties.  It’s a great party idea for ANY grade level in elementary school.  Give each of the kids a bag, then have them fill it with a scoop of oatmeal.  To make magical reindeer food, the kids can add some sprinkles to make it magical, and some edible glitter (optional).  My kids love throwing this on the roof and lawn on Christmas Eve each year, and it seems to work, because Santa ALWAYS finds our house.

So get creative, grab some cardstock, treat bags, and ribbon, and start printing.  Once you’ve printed the tags, cut them out, and punch a hole at the top, and tie around your gift.  See how it instantly gives your gift a beautiful uplift.  Also, if you did buy candy or popcorn, then adding a tag makes it feel like it was somewhat homemade. 🙂
