The 12 days of Christmas is such a fun tradition, but sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to figure out what gifts to deliver. These FREE printables will make it so easy for you to decide which 12 Days of Christmas gift ideas you are going to deliver.
If you aren’t familiar with the 12 days of Christmas, basically, you choose someone to deliver gifts to, for the 12 days leading up to Christmas. You can choose a family, a relative, a friend, teacher, coach, a neighbor, or anyone really. Traditionally, the 12 days of Christmas begins on Christmas Day and goes until January 6th. THIS article explains it well.
But many people start their 12 days of gift giving on either December 13th or the 14th, depending on whether or not you want to deliver on Christmas Day. I typically start mine on the 13th, and then end on Christmas Eve, but there is no rule for this, so start whenever YOU want to start.
If you want to get more people involved in the gift giving, then ask another family to join you, or a group of people. One year, I invited a group of about eight of my friends to do the 12 days of Christmas for a family whose mother had cancer and was going through chemotherapy. We divided up the gifts and all took turns delivering. It was such a joy for all of us to serve this family. The mother later told me that her children would race to the door in excitement each night to try can find out who was delivering the gifts, and the parents felt the love from their neighbors.
